Hugh Campbell. Managing Director, Cascadia Capital. Hugh Campbell is a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital focusing on middle market debt placement, buy side and sell side M&A mandates and equity placements. Before joining Cascadia, Hugh worked for IB Partners, a South American boutique M&A firm, where he executed mid-market M&A transactions throughout Latin America. Prior to business school, Hugh worked for a micro credit fund in Central America and previously spent three years at Wachovia Bank. Hugh holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.B.A. with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Bryce Phillips. CEO and Founder, Evo. Bryce earned a degree in Finance, juggling school while living in Whistler BC, skiing professionally and chasing winters around the world. In 2001 Bryce started Evolución Innovations, Inc. (www.evo.com), an action sports lifestyle retail business and in 2005 opened a flagship store in Seattle, Washington. Originally launching the site with one employee from his living room, Evo is now as many as 100 employees and has grown 60%+/year since inception. Bryce’s vision is to continue building a truly unique brand weaving together commerce, cause, culture and community with a great group of people.
Andy Devereaux. Managing Partner, American Capital Company. Andy is Managing Partner of American Capital—which he formed in 1988 to make private equity investments in media, telecommunications, and internet information services—and has been or is currently active in both public and private companies as Chairman, CEO, Executive, Board Member, General Partner and Limited Partner. Andy was formerly a principal in, and served as EVP of American CableSystems. He also was VP Strategic Planning and VP Marketing at GI Communications a division of General Instrument Corporation, now part of Motorola. Andy is a past Director of Outward Bound Hurricane Island and the Appalachian Mountain Club. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program and holds three degrees from the University of New Brunswick.
Carl Robinson, Ph.D., Managing Principal of Advanced Leadership Consulting. Carl is a business psychologist who for over 30 years has been focusing on the development of high performance leaders. Dr. Robinson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco and, a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Vermont College. He earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies where he studied both Eastern and Western Psychology and Religion. His dissertation research investigated factors that influence creative thinking. His clients range from early stage to public traded companies including major research institutes and universities run by people who are very intelligent, creative and often very impatient.
